Roland MC-101 Sound Lists

Finding the sound that you are looking for on the Roland MC-101 can be tedious because the groovebox does not have a search engine. Thus, I created two separate Google Sheets documents: one with all the Presets and another with all the PCM sounds of this lovely little instrument.

In the Preset document, you can find a list of approximately 3.6 thousand tones, 130 drum kits and 700 individual drum parts that come with the Roland MC-101. In the PCM document, you will find the list of almost 2 thousand PCMs that you can load to each partial.

First, you need to open each Google Sheets document using the buttons below. After opening each link, you will need to make a copy to your own Drive. Once you have a copy of the document, you can then edit the cells and run your own queries.

If you do not copy the documents to your Drive, effectively creating your own version of the document, you cannot perform queries and, therefore, you will only be able to see an example/preview query.
